About the role:
Red Hat's Marketing Planning and Performance team is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you'll join the Marketing Analytics team that is responsible for managing the tools, systems, processes, and data that make the Red Hat Marketing organization more efficient, effective, and data-driven. You will develop standard reports and dashboards, and deliver analysis on the performance of marketing activities across global marketing teams. You'll work closely with various marketing teams to measure and optimize global Red Hat programs.
What you will bring:

Partner and consult with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data models and Tableau and SQL-driven reporting solutions

Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze large marketing datasets
-
Create and maintain dashboards and automated reports powered by validated SQL queries
-
Perform deep-dive analyses using SQL to evaluate campaign performance, web analytics, and funnel optimization

Collaborate with Marketing Operations, IT, and data engineering to ensure accurate data integration across CRM, web, and campaign platforms
-
Standardize and document metric logic, business rules, and data transformations within SQL workflows

Enable self-service analytics by delivering well-structured datasets and training stakeholders on data interpretation
What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, marketing, business administration, or computer science
-
5+ years or relevant experience in data analysis, statistics, and data mining
-
SQL Proficiency: use SQL to perform UAT for data migrations and investigate data anomalies; able to write window functions and common table expressions

Experience with Databricks, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, or similar systems and tools
-
Strong analytics skills with proven experience managing large data sets

A coachable, energetic, detail oriented team player who is focused and diligent on driving and delivering results
-
A critical thinker who with an entrepreneurial attitude and problem solving mindset
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
-
Good collaboration and communication skills to work cross functionally within analytics teams
-
Experience with Python is a plus
-
Databricks Certification is a plus
The salary range for this position is $88,510.00 - $141,630.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
