What You Will Do
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the automation cell.
- Ensure the automation cell receives timely calibration, visual checks, load testing, and routine maintenance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for calibration and maintenance work, including reviewing reports, resolving discrepancies, and tracking completion deadlines.
- Work closely with end users to register new MRO tools, PMTE, and lifting equipment; oversee calibration and load-test schedules; and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Keep up to date with OEM tool bulletins related to modifications, updates, or replacements.
- Partner with vendors to carry out required tool repairs or modifications.
- Maintain and update tool information within the ETMS and SAP systems.
- Comply with all EH&S policies and safety procedures.
- Contribute actively to EH&S, Quality, and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Possess a Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have 2–5 years of experience working with automation equipment, robotics, or production machinery.
- Practical experience in diagnosing and resolving issues in automated systems, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control components.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings, with basic drafting knowledge.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior background in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering is beneficial.
- Experience working with automation cells, calibration processes, and maintenance activities in an MRO setting is an added advantage.
