General Summary:

Job Overview

Qualcomm Customer Engineering Group is looking for experienced lead to support Qualcomm IVI/ADAS/Flex customers. Work will include training/trouble shooting/debug/managing with Qualcomm Automotive customers to support their IVI/ADAS/Flex platform development, also needs to have good issue analysis skill to narrow down problem area and communication with internal Local/Global teams to report issues. The job covers a wide range of software stack ,frameworks, runtimes, and especially for performance tunning. Software capabilities from compilation and execution workflows to monitoring, profiling, visualization, and debugging capabilities. The successful applicant should have a diverse skill set including a strong background in platform knowledge, multimedia pipeline basic, performance analysis and system architecture, understanding of accelerator architectures and a passion to drive world-class solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience profiling and optimizing software for CPUs and/or

• Proficient in coding with C/C++, and experience in assembly.

• Good knowledge of QNX/Linux/Android OS, multi-thread, system scheduler, priority management, data structures and basic algorithms.

• Good knowledge of Application Processor (e.g. ARM Cortex-M/A serial) architecture, multi-core, functional DSPs, and ARM’s virtualization/SMMU.

• Good understanding of hardware blocks

• Clocks, PLLs, GPIO, Interrupt Controllers (GIC), NOC, QoS, PMU… and their SW architecture for porting and debugging.

• Professional in system knowledge as low level QNX/Linux Kernel framework, processor/thread scheduling, CPU loading, DDR bandwidth and overall system performance tuning.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability with sufficient tools (e.g. GDB, JTAG-Debugger…).

• Experiences in software design and implementation.

• Experience using software management systems (e.g. GIT, P4, GERRIT).

• Active and skillful documentation writing

• Strong English communication (written and verbal) and positive interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Qualcomm Platform is a big plus.

• Technical Lead Project abilities - 10+ years AUTO related working experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 3+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.
