The NVIDIA Networking IC Co-Packaged Optics Engineering team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Test Engineer for co-packaged optics products. This role involves close collaboration with various IC Product Engineering teams, including hardware, test engineering, and product engineering, as well as the Operations team and leading semiconductor vendors and assembly/test providers worldwide. The position requires a strong understanding of product, test hardware, and software to ensure stable, efficient, and smoothly running production line. This enables high availability while maintaining the quality of products shipped to customers.
What you'll be doing:

Ensure manufacturing readiness for CPO products at NV manufacturing partners.

Collaborate closely with RnD, PE and Operations to ensure robust manufacturing capabilities of CPO products and assure mass production is running smoothly.

Yield analysis monitoring and drive continues improvement initiatives for NPI production lines.

Maintain products’ quality by improving test stability, coverage, design and manufacturing process.

Provide onsite engineering support: technical ownership and support for product or tests issues, test infrastructures and tests setups
What we need to see:
-
BS/MS degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics and/or related field

5 years’ experience in relevant fields – mass production, wafer or die-stack sort, final test, and data processing & analysis

Experience in high-speed optical and electrical test and measurement equipment, control, data acquisition and test automation, good knowledge and experience with IC production flow, especially for test & product engineering know how.

Hands-on HW debug experience with strong problem-solving ability.

Highly motivated team player always stays up to date with new technologies and test methodologies

Excellent communication/presentation skills in English.
Ways to stand out in the crowd:

Previous proven experience in silicon-photonics based products and hardware testing at wafer level and/or die-stack level, high professionalism in IC mass production environment.

Know-how of wafer sort and probe card, load boards, ATE set-up, first pass yield, yield analysis and test and process cycle time reduction

Experience with test design and optical lab equipment Experience working with OSAT in volume manufacturing environment
