Postdoctoral Fellow-MSH

**Roles & Responsibilities:

The Post-Doctoral Fellow will join the Center of Excellence in Eating and Weight Disorders. The fellowship position will have primary responsibilities contributing to the execution of a NIMH grant testing the role of gonadal hormones in the development of binge eating disorders using large scale functional neuroimaging data. The individual will be responsible for downloading the raw data for the grant from the source, conducting neuroimaging data preprocessing, individual-level functional network analyses, and group-level analyses. This person will also be involved in grant administration and manuscript writing. Expertise in graph analysis and experience with advanced mathematical modeling and machine learning is required. As part of the fellowship, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on other neuroimaging projects and analyses ongoing in the lab and is encouraged to develop their own projects within the scope of the grant and available data, with opportunities to receive mentorship and guidance on grant writing, experimental design, advanced neuroimaging, laboratory eating, and clinical aspects of eating disorders. The position offers the potential to develop further skills in analyzing genetic and clinical data and to work with experts in the fields of statistics, psychiatry, clinical psychology, and cognitive neuroscience.
