ポジションについて

Meta's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Our Global Workplace Services (GWS) team ensures that Metamates around the world have the resources, services, and environments they need to do their best work — and getting people to and from work safely, sustainably, and efficiently is a critical part of that mission.
We're looking for a Global Transportation Planning Manager to join our Transportation team. This is a senior individual contributor role for a strategic thinker and doer who will shape how Meta moves people today and into the future. The ideal candidate combines deep transportation planning expertise with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives. You will design and optimize commuter shuttle services, drive strategic planning for Meta's global transportation programs, partner closely with Real Estate and Workplace Planning teams to inform office location strategy, and lead projects that span multiple pillars within Transportation.
This role requires someone who brings new ideas, operates with a bias for action, and is eager to contribute beyond their core scope to advance the team. This position reports to the Global Transportation Manager and collaborates with teams across GWS, Real Estate, Workplace Planning, Finance, and regional operations partners globally.

Global Transportation Planning Manager Responsibilities:

Lead commuter shuttle network planning including route design, service modeling, capacity analysis, and fleet strategy to ensure efficient, reliable service that scales with Meta's evolving workplace footprint
Develop and refine transportation programs (shuttle, vanpool, microtransit, carpool) with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and employee experience
Drive long-range transportation strategy aligned with Meta's growth plans, hybrid work policies, and sustainability goals. Translate complex data and trends into clear recommendations for leadership
Serve as the Transportation team's strategic partner to Real Estate and Workplace Planning, providing transportation feasibility analysis, commute modeling, and connectivity insights that inform site selection and office location decisions
Lead high-impact initiatives that span multiple pillars within Transportation (e.g., fleet replacement strategy, vendor RFPs, technology implementations, program integrations across regions)
Develop and maintain analytical frameworks, dashboards, and models to evaluate program performance, forecast demand, and support scenario planning across the global portfolio
Build strong relationships with internal partners (Finance, Facilities, Sustainability, Security) and external vendors/agencies to advance transportation objectives and identify partnership opportunities
Identify efficiencies, streamline processes, and establish best practices that elevate service quality and cost-effectiveness across the global transportation program
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and peer practices. Bring new ideas to the team and proactively propose improvements even outside core scope

Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in transportation planning, transit operations, mobility program management, or a related field
Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation
Experience with data analysis, service planning tools, and GIS to inform strategic decisions
Experience partnering with real estate, workplace, or facilities teams on location strategy or site planning
Communication and presentation experience, including conveying complex analysis to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience managing vendor relationships and procurement processes (e.g., RFPs, contract negotiations)
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive results with minimal direction
Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, operations, business, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with shuttle or commuter bus operations, fleet planning, and/or commuter benefits program design
Experience with scenario modeling, demand forecasting, or network optimization
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Experience managing global or multi-region transportation programs
Experience in the technology sector or other large-scale corporate campus environments
Experience in corporate transportation, transit agency planning, or mobility consulting
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and electrification strategies for fleet operations
Master's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, MBA, or related field
