We – Maersk Projects Logistics - are now recruiting for a Customer Solutions Engineer for our Aid & Relief Operations team. The position is located in Aarhus.
Key Responsibilities:
As Customer Solutions Engineer in Maersk Project Logistics you will be part of a winning team with high growth ambitions within Aid & Relief. You’ll be working closely with the Operations Manager and Business Development Team to address the customer’s requirements with cost-effective, high-quality end to end logistics solutions which can be effectively implemented and executed
In your roles as Customer Solutions Engineer within Aid & Relief you will:
- Manage the tender bidding process and co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and competitive offer is submitted to the customers.
- Build and create technical transport solutions via sea, air, road, rail, and charter with support and knowledge-sharing from your colleagues.
- You will develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions based on identified best technical and organizational solutions.

The strong candidate has:
- Relevant experience from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or similar. Experience within Aid & Relief is an advantage, but not a requirement
- High understanding of crosstrade and incoterms
- Experience in account management
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written in English
- A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
- Relationship building skills, both with customers but also internal stakeholders
- High-level logistics product understanding including how it solves different customer pains
