ROLE MISSION

Reporting to the Head of Collection Merchandising, the Collection Merchandiser will be responsible for defining the collection proposal for the assigned product categories, defining a product strategy coherent with the brand image and customer expectation, developing a collection that can maximize profitability, keeping innovation and quality as pillars.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collaborate with Creative Team and Product team to define the collection for the assigned products categories.
• Oversee the development of the collection for those categories
• Help define collection strategy, exploiting market and product opportunities
• Conduct market and product research
• Map competitors and create price benchmarking
• Define pricing based on brand strategy, positioning and marginality
• Liaise with RTL and WHLS team to get insight on customer needs
• Present the collection to WHLS, RTL and Buyers.
• Guide WHLS accounts during the selection and buying appointments
• Define with RTL team the collection master order
• Structure sales analysis to plan future strategies

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years prior experience in similar position in a multinational company
• Italian and English fluent
• University Degree in Economics
• A minimum MBA level required or university equivalent, specialized in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
• Luxury business and product knowledge
• Strong Merchandising experience
• Strong sense of taste and product sensibility
• Proficient in MS Office, BO database systems
