As a Payment Lifecycle Manager III within Payments Operations, you will play a senior role within the Cash Asset Management (CAM) utility, combining strategic service enablement, stakeholder engagement, and operational optimisation leadership. The role partners closely with Service Leads, Operations, Change teams, and senior stakeholders to deliver CAM’s strategic objectives while ensuring the right cash is in the right place, at the right time, with maximum transparency.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate across Cash Asset Management Service Leads, Change teams, and Operations to influence change and drive delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Represent Cash Asset Management in senior stakeholder forums and working groups, ensuring Service Owners are informed, aligned, and able to make effective decisions.
- Own and deliver complex initiatives across the full lifecycle from ideation through execution, with clear accountability for outcomes, risks, and escalations.
- Use data to drive prioritisation, decision‑making, and continuous improvement across CAM services and operational processes.
- Lead identification and delivery of process re‑engineering and operational optimisation opportunities across global teams, including Manila, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
- Implement tools, frameworks, and governance to support effective capacity planning, resource allocation, and service delivery against the Service Catalogue.
- Provide accurate, timely, and senior‑ready progress reporting, highlighting risks, dependencies, and issues requiring leadership attention. Support and provide ad‑hoc oversight for CAM services, including Projections, ensuring operational health, control, and transparency.
- Partner with Operations leadership to implement and embed metrics frameworks that reflect performance, risk, and organisational health.
- Coach, educate, and upskill teams to improve capability in data analysis, continuous improvement methodologies, and project delivery disciplines.
- Deliver clear, impactful communications tailored to stakeholders at all levels across the firm. Provide approval and oversight support related to FINRA Series 99 requirements, where applicable.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex initiatives in a senior or leadership capacity within an operational or transformation environment.
- Strong prioritisation, planning, organisational, and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, confident influencing action and change across senior stakeholder groups.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with consistent follow‑through to resolution and timely communication.
- Comfortable operating under pressure and tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail and control mindset.
- Demonstrated operational experience with a focus on process optimisation, execution discipline, and risk awareness.
- Analytical and data‑driven mindset, able to interpret data, identify underlying drivers, and articulate clear narratives and recommendations.
- Ability to challenge the status quo constructively and drive pragmatic, value‑focused solutions.
- Promotes an inclusive, collaborative working environment and adapts effectively across global teams and cultures.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Cash Management, Treasury, Finance, or Accounting environments.
- Experience with business intelligence and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik View).
- Strong interest in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cultural change.
- Financial Services background, particularly in operational, transformation, or project‑based roles.
