Our .NET and game dev tools include Re Sharper (an extension for Microsoft Visual Studio also available for VS-Code-like editors), Rider (a standalone cross-platform .NET and game dev IDE), and a suite of profiling and code analysis tools like dot Cover, dot Memory, dot Trace, and dot Peek.

In addition to individual tools, Jet Brains offers development packages like dot Ultimate, designed specifically for the .NET market. As we aim to expand further into the B2B space, we’re looking for a product manager who can deeply understand the needs of this segment and collaborate across products and teams to deliver real value to our business clients. This role is pivotal, requiring strong cross-functional alignment, team collaboration, and a primary focus on prioritizing customer needs.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the product discovery process to validate product-market fit, using insights from user research, usage data, and collaboration with the Sales and Customer Success teams.

• Conduct the necessary UX and market research to gain insights and make informed decisions.

• Identify the product metrics needed to monitor success and make data-driven decisions.

• Generate, prioritize, and test hypotheses.

• Put the customer first and the product second. You’ll prioritize addressing the needs and the pain points of the target audience.

• Define and implement a product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that addresses short-term and long-term goals.

• Work closely with engineering teams to clearly define problems and assist with solution design, delivery, and iteration.

• Collaborate with analysts, technical writers, developer advocates, and marketing and growth teams.

• Cooperate with the authors of third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools.

• Continuously explore potential partnership opportunities and drive thoughtfully selected ones.

We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:

• Have a technical education or experience in software development.

• Have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B solutions.

• Have a deep understanding of product metrics.

• Are familiar with programming languages and modern software development practices.

• Have a proven ability to define product strategy and drive execution across multiple teams.

• Have experience working with technical products and engineering-heavy teams.

• Have a track record of customer-centric thinking and the ability to translate user problems into product opportunities.

• Are proficient in English with strong spoken and written communication skills.

• Are able to work through both the discovery and delivery phases of product development.

We'd be especially thrilled if you:

• Have professional experience writing code in C#.

• Have a background in developer tooling. Whether it’s IDEs, code analysis, CI/CD, or version control, you understand the landscape and have worked on products built for developers.

• Are familiar with major software development platforms, including experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio, VS Code, or similar environments.
