Responsibilities

As a National Healthcare Coordinator, you will:

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across all levels of the healthcare system to improve care delivery and patient outcomes.
• Deliver training and education programs to support clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
• Support hospitals and care teams in optimizing patient pathways and coordination of care.
• Promote the implementation of evidence-based clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and support performance monitoring efforts.
• Identify gaps in healthcare delivery and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare institutions and key stakeholders.
• Expand the reach of initiatives by engaging new hospitals and care providers.
• Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to improve system effectiveness.
• Contribute to the development and standardization of clinical and organizational protocols.

Required Skills

• Strong scientific background (advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or related field preferred; cardiovascular focus is an advantage).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience in training, education, or facilitation within healthcare settings.
• Ability to navigate and collaborate within complex healthcare environments.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• High level of accountability, ownership, and resilience.
• Experience working with healthcare institutions and professionals.
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian.
• Valid driver’s license with strong driving experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%).
• Eligibility to work full-time in Bulgaria.
