Mainframe Storage Specialist

We are looking for a Mainframe Storage Specialist with strong expertise in DASD and Tape environments. The role involves managing IBM mainframe storage technologies and supporting daily storage operations.

• Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support DASD & Tape storage systems.

• Work with DFSMS, HSM, RMM, DFP, DSS, ICF Catalogs, VSAM, ICKDSF.

• Handle ATL/VTS, SILOs, TS7700 environments.

• Perform storage allocation, migration, and performance tuning.

• Troubleshoot storage issues and support backup/restore processes.

• Work with reporting and capacity planning tools.

• Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of mainframe storage concepts.

• Hands on experience with IBM storage tools.

• Familiarity with 3rd party tools: FDR/ABR, STOPX37, CA 1, CA Disk, EMC, etc.

• Good analytical and communication skills.

Education: Bachelor of Engineering
