Processor Development Engineer (f/m/x)

We are looking for you as a Developer (f/m/x) in Processor Development for our future large-scale and high-performance computing systems.

With our innovative processor designs, we tackle current and future challenges in information processing for the next generation of the world’s fastest and most powerful microprocessors.

To strengthen our hardware development teams, we are hiring graduates for the position of Development Engineer (f/m/x) in Processor Development starting on January 1st, 2027.

The diverse responsibilities of the processor development team include, among others:

• Development of innovative processor and system architectures for future high-performance computing systems (Power & IBM Z)
• Development of new concepts and solutions for processor components and accelerators
• Design of high-frequency logic for high-end microprocessors
• Performance validation and optimization of critical applications for new hardware architectures
• Further development and provision of the existing DevOps and workflow infrastructure for agile hardware processor development projects
• Development of tools to automate and improve our applied methods
