SW Developer Intern | Enterprise Platform-as-a-Service

As a Developer at IBM, you’ll help build the technologies powering the quantum revolution and the next generation of AI. In this role, you’ll work across client-server architectures, networking, application development, and databases to design and deploy Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. We’re seeking motivated developers who can create clean, well-documented, and intuitive APIs that enable customers and teams to build with confidence.

You’ll also design and develop scalable server applications, firmware, and databases, while helping build large-scale systems that support continuous delivery across cloud and on-premises environments. Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:

1. Participating in Agile development cycles, including design, coding, testing, and support

2. Transforming wireframes into intuitive, functional user experiences

3. Applying software engineering and testing best practices to deliver high-quality solutions

4. Leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance development efficiency and productivity

5. Integrating AI capabilities to make our platform solutions easier to deploy, use, and scale
