The Assistant Front Desk Manager is concerned with the strategic management of the Front Office department following Hilton brand standards, policies and procedures. This role is responsible for the operation of all Front Desk operations, the Transportation team, Concierge, and telephone service centre.
What will I be doing?
Operational Management-
Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations for guest pickups, airport transfers, staff transportation, and hotel vehicle requirements.

Ensure all vehicles are maintained in excellent working condition and comply with statutory regulations.

Monitor vehicle schedules, route planning, and fuel efficiency.
-
Maintain transport logs, trip sheets, and documentation accurately.
Team Management-
Supervise, train, and guide drivers and transport staff.
-
Prepare duty rosters and manage shift allocations.
-
Ensure drivers adhere to grooming standards, service etiquette, and safety protocols.
-
Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Guest Service Excellence-
Ensure timely and professional guest transportation services.
-
Address and resolve guest transport-related concerns promptly.
-
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, and Sales teams for VIP movements and special events.
Compliance & Safety-
Ensure compliance with local transport laws, insurance requirements, and safety regulations.

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and safety audits.
-
Monitor driver licenses, renewals, and statutory documentation.
Cost & Budget Control-
Monitor fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance costs.

Assist in preparing transport department budgets.
-
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
Coordination & Reporting-
Prepare monthly transport reports including usage, expenses, and maintenance records.

Coordinate with vendors for vehicle servicing, repairs, and rentals.
-
Assist in planning transport logistics for large events and conferences.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
-
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transport or fleet management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
-
Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations and vehicle maintenance.
-
Proven experience in team supervision.
