Track Manager - Vmware vSphere & vCenter,VMware vSAN

Job Summary

Looking for an experienced VMware & Hyper-V SME responsible for implementing, administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise virtualization environments. The candidate should possess strong expertise in VMware v Sphere, Hyper-V and Zerto

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer VMware v Sphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.

• In-depth hands-on experience with configuration and upgradation of ESXi hosts and v Center Server,

• In-depth hands-on experience with Hyper-V Cluster configuration, logical networking and Storage configuration on Hyper-V nodes, Management of Hyper-V environment using SCVMM, Hyper-V monitoring configuration

• Excellent knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V Networking (v Switch, vLAN, Logical Networks)

• Perform virtualization infrastructure design, implementation, and migration activities.

• Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and security of virtual infrastructure

• Configuration and management of v Motion, HA, DRS, Hyper-V Clustering, Logical Networking

• Handle VM provisioning, templates, snapshots, cloning, and resource optimization.

• Troubleshoot complex virtualization, storage, networking, and performance issues.

• Work with Storage team for Storage allocation and Backup team to ensure VM Backups

• Plan and Support DR activities using Zerto

• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. Automate Day to day activities using VMware CLI, Power

Shell scripts or PowerCLI:

Skill Requirements

VMware, Hyper-V, SCVMM and Zerto

Other Requirements

10+ years of experience in virtualization technologies.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise VMware and Hyper-V infrastructure

• Experience in migration, consolidation, and DR projects.

• Strong troubleshooting, Analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to work in 24x7 support environments
