Job Summary

• Factory Automation Architect (Senior Level) – 1x
  10+ Years Experience
  o  Expert level implementation of SECS II (SEMI E5) and GEM (SEMI E30)
  o  Design and implementation of factory automation (FA) software from the ground up
  o  Definition and use of SEMI GEM state models, events, reports, and alarms
  o  Implementation of SECS message handling (S1–S6, S9) and host communication flows
  o  Deep knowledge of SEMI E30 compliance scenarios and host interaction patterns
  o  Experience implementing additional SEMI standards (E37, E39, E40, E87, E90, E94 as applicable)
  o  Ownership of equipment to factory integration (not MES administration)
  o  Design of equipment automation behavior: control states, processing states, and handshakes
  o  Debugging and validation of host communication, compliance, and edge cases
  o  Support for factory acceptance testing (FAT) and host certification activities
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s in software engineering, Computer Science or related

Key Responsibilities

1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery

2. To support as an SME

3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements

4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated

5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology

6. To review project deliverables.

7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
