Senior Cyber Security Engineer, Cloud Security

Overview As a member of the Cyber Security Engineering & Operations team, you will be responsible for consulting on internal and external enterprise-facing cyber security projects, proposing and designing reasonable cyber security controls, understanding existing cyber security capabilities and keeping up to date on new and emerging solutions. You will also be responsible and accountable for architecting solutions, recommending optimizations of current services, and providing technical leadership across the enterprise to inform and advance our cloud security posture. A successful candidate will possess strong learning agility, keen intellectual integrity, a mature risk mindset and a robust background in automation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and implementation of a wide range of cyber security projects. Collaborate with peers in Technology & Solutions to design and implement secure solutions and services. Partner with the business to develop and deploy sustainable cyber security solutions at scale, that reduce cyber security risk for our most critical assets. Self-direct and contribute through cooperative team effort amongst peer groups. Review, critique and provide best practices for improving existing cyber security hardware and software. Partner with other cyber security team members to transition day-to-day activities of deployed solutions and identify and implement automation around routine tasks. Continuously develops knowledge of evolving best practices through peer benchmarking, industry events/associations, and educational opportunities. Leverages partnership and relationships to benchmark existing and proposed cyber security solutions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Successful track record of positively influencing stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills A working knowledge of cyber security, cyber security technology, risk assessment and management. Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries, and influence others. Ability to define and manage internal projects and milestones and demonstrated leadership skills. Knowledge in tools and techniques used by attackers to gain unauthorized access to systems. Understands how corporations operate in the global economy and is familiar with operational risk concerns for international businesses. Knowledge of security principles and best practices in cloud substrates (GCP, Azure, AWS) In depth understanding of cloud cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices. Experience implementing cloud security monitoring and logging solutions supporting detection & response processes Applied knowledge of defensible security architecture and engineering principles. Experience building sustainable, scalable, and efficient security tools and automation using industry standard scripting languages and best practices. Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Continually evaluate and optimize cloud security reference architectures and engineering principles. Collaborates to establish multi-cloud cybersecurity architecture with a focus on proactive threat detection, security control enforcement and incident response. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, especially where there is ambiguity. Prior experience with information security technologies, including boundary protection, endpoint protection, remote access, and security information and event management Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external stakeholders Ability to influence through relationship building Ability to work both independently and in a collaboratively in a team environment Discretion, integrity, and independent sound judgment in both designing and implementing processes Strong analytic skills with a penchant for measuring what matters Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc. Experience implementing and maintaining network security infrastructure across multi-region and multi-cloud environment COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves.
