Compliance Officer – Insurance Licensing

Seeking a compliance professional to manage insurance licensing activities and ensure adherence to state regulatory requirements. This role serves as a subject matter expert on licensing processes, partners with internal teams and regulators, resolves complex licensing issues, monitors regulatory changes, and drives process improvements to reduce risk and enhance efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the insurance licensing subject matter expert, overseeing license applications, renewals, maintenance, and terminations.
- Partner with internal teams, regulators, and vendors to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Monitor regulatory changes, resolve complex licensing issues, and provide guidance to associates and business partners.
- Review exception requests and balance business needs with regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the associate experience.
- Communicate licensing and compliance requirements clearly and support audits, regulatory inquiries, and licensing-related projects.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years of insurance licensing, compliance, regulatory, or related experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret regulations and provide practical guidance
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and regulators
What Could Set You Apart:
- Active insurance license
- Experience with Reg Ed, NIPR, SIRCON/SBS, WebCRD, and People Soft
- Financial services or insurance industry compliance experienc
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
