Product Operations Senior Principal Engineer
When Dell Technologies launches new game-changing products into the global market, Product Operations Engineering has a vital role to play. The team coordinates all the operational activities that enable products to be introduced and sustained successfully. It’s about making sure there is consistency between production and test environments. It’s about ensuring hardware, software and networking changes are migrated into the production environment in a stable and controlled way. And it’s about creating build processes, coordinating product builds for release into production and setting up configuration specifications for releases.

What you’ll achieve As a Product Operations Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for
engaging to product design and global manufactory and drive strategies and action plans for new product introduction from early design to mass production. You will work with internal core team, extended team and suppliers on notebook developments.
You will:

Decide, initiate and own largescale projects; proactively coordinate team engagement.

Set priorities within and between projects based on critical need for the business; anticipate implications associated with a chosen course of action.

Lead extended team with some direction Ability to manage team through influence direct knowledge and understanding of all extended team functions.

Develop and manage FP (Functional Plan) for complex product launches and for complex fulfillment models

Essential Requirements:

Numerous engineering disciplines, development / manufacturing process knowledge and technical expertise in some commodities.

Strong command skills to drive the implementation and execution of programs and initiatives.

Provides leadership for ensuring that product designs and operational processes are optimized Develops solutions for complex problems that meet operational and business requirements and incorporates industry best practices Able to communicate and influence across the organization.

Defines process for review of product and advanced technology specifications and creation / communication of operational requirements
Desirable Requirements
- 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience
