About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior IT Location Coordinator (m/f/diverse) to join our EMEA Tires IT Team in Timisoara, Romania. In this role, you will be providing support and consultancy on IT topics for IT Teams in all locations (11 Plants, 12 Market Offices and Warehouses) across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will manage and coordinate the following tasks:

  • Collaborate with local IT managers, Regional and central IT Teams, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence and ensure alignment with organizational goals;
  • Identify and promote emerging technologies to address critical business needs and enhance operational efficiency;
  • Develop and implement cost-effective measures to mitigate risks in IT services and projects, ensure high quality and compliance;
  • Lead the implementation of Tire IT and Continental standard platforms across EMEA locations;
  • Prepare and deliver high-level presentations on IT topics and projects to key stakeholders;
  • Support the Infrastructure Coordinator in Infrastructure projects for the Region EMEA.
  • Academic degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with minimum 7 years of experience in IT coordination or management roles, preferably in local IT of multinational organizations;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects across multiple locations, with strong project management skills (PMP certification preferred);
  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure management and ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL);
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and implementing cost-effective measures;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and leadership abilities;
  • Fluency in English'
  • Understanding of IT regulations, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies in the EMEA region;
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as required.
