We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic team players, with a strong work ethic, who will join APAC FX Middle Office, part of the Market Operations organization. As an FX Middle Office Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the trade lifecycle by working closely with Business partners, Client’s, and Internal stakeholders to ensure all transactions flow through our front to back systems, with no issues. The overall objective of this role is to support the front office desk, responsible for providing trade lifecycle support, performing and reviewing controls, trade exception and remediation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically related to FX business in Hub locations - Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore
- Supporting lifecycle activities and interaction with Business, Firm’s Clients, Operations and Technology to manage post execution issues
- Perform control functions based on intermediary processing systems and records
- Complete daily tasks accurately and on time
- Ensure the desk is always in compliant with internal and external regulations
- Manage, escalate, and resolve all requests / inquiries / issues / errors and identify policy gaps
- Willingness to cross train within teams – Sales and Trading MO functions
- Assist Team Lead in all their duties as required
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Require to work Australia shift on rotational basis
Qualification and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience (Financial Institution/Banking)
- Fundamental understanding of FX & Option products, trade lifecycle management, and related operational risks
- Team oriented personality, thrives in a team environment and can also work independently
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and a strong desire to succeed
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk and fast-paced environment
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
