Role Title: Software Engineering Advisor Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior full stack Engineer to lead the design and development. The ideal candidate will deliver end-to-end application solutions spanning frontend UI development, UI/UX design, backend Java Spring Boot REST APIs, cloud-native AWS services, and CI/CD automation. This role requires hands-on expertise in ReactJS, AWS cloud development, PostgreSQL, and AI-assisted development tools to enable rapid, high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical leadership to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable application solutions.

Design and develop modern, responsive frontend applications using ReactJS, following best practices in performance, accessibility, and usability.

Apply strong UI/UX design principles to deliver intuitive, user-centric interfaces and consistent design systems.
-
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

Build cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging managed services and best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to:
o Accelerate feature development and prototyping
o Improve code quality, refactoring, and documentation
o Assist with debugging and test generation -
Integrate applications with PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and transactional consistency.

Implement secure authentication and authorization for web applications and APIs.

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.

Deploy and manage applications using containerization and cloud-based infrastructure as required.

Monitor application health, performance, and logs; proactively identify and resolve issues.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies—planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos, and
retrospectives. -
Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices across frontend, backend, and
cloud components. -
Continuously evaluate and adopt modern frameworks, cloud services, and AI-driven
engineering practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering or related course work
Experience:
·• Minimum of 8-11 years of experience in Workforce Management.
Skills:
- 8+ years of Software Development experience, frontend and backend
- Strong frontend development expertise with ReactJS
o Modern JavaScript / TypeScript
o Component-based architecture
o State management and performance optimization
o HTML5, CSS3, responsive design - Strong AWS cloud development experience
o EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora (PostgreSQL)
o Lambda, ECS/EKS
o IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway - Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
o Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar - Experience with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native deployment patterns
- Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot, including:
o REST API design and implementation
o Microservices-based architectures - Strong understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Mandatory hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent for rapid development and code quality improvement
- Health Insurance experience is a plus
Location & Hours of Work
- Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate
- Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
Work Hours:
- 11.30AM IST to 8.30PM IST
