How you will make an impact:

  • Gather diagnostic information and support initial troubleshooting of network challenges, both remotely and on-site, in collaboration with senior engineers and customer teams

  • Contribute to network rollout and expansion planning for both new and existing customer environments

  • Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases to validate network designs, features, and performance

  • Apply automation concepts by using or learning scripting tools to assist with configuration, testing, and operational tasks

  • Build technical knowledge by reviewing product documentation, design specifications, and industry standards such as International Telecommunication Union – Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU‑T), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and Requests for Comments (RFCs)

  • Work as part of a global, cross‑functional project team to support timely and high‑quality customer deliveries

The must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field

  • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience, including academic projects, internships, or early‑career roles in networking, telecom, or systems engineering

  • Foundational understanding of Layer 2 switching concepts such as Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)

  • Foundational understanding of Layer 3 routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS‑IS), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

  • Introductory knowledge of Optical networking concepts, including Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) and Optical Transport Network (OTN)

  • Analytical problem‑solving skills and an interest in learning structured troubleshooting approaches

  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a collaborative team environment

Nice to haves:

  • Exposure to scripting or programming concepts, such as Python, or a strong interest in learning network automation

  • Experience creating technical documentation or diagrams using tools such as Visio, Word, or Excel

  • Familiarity with telecom or data networking standards and specifications

  • Experience supporting customer‑facing or project‑based technical work

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and motivation to continuously build new technical skills

We’re accepting applications on an ongoing basis for current and upcoming Field Service Engineering opportunities. Qualified candidates may be considered for future openings as roles become available over time.
