
Sr. Asset Management Analyst, Logistics (fluent in German)

We are looking for a Senior Asset Management Analyst Logistics to join our Frankfurt-based team within CBRE Investment Management's Logistics Operator division. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management Logistics, Germany, you will play an active role in supporting Asset Managers in managing a high-quality institutional logistics portfolio across Germany.
This is a hands-on role spanning the full asset management lifecycle: from leasing and capex execution to financial reporting, valuations, and portfolio repositioning in one of Europe's most strategically important logistics real estate markets.
Your key responsibilities:Asset Management & Operations
- Support and lead day-to-day asset management activities across the logistics portfolio, ensuring assets meet financial and operational performance targets
- Monitor key lease events including expiries, break options, rent reviews, and renewals, and drive timely action to protect and enhance income
- Coordinate with property managers, technical advisors, and other service providers to maintain operational excellence and cost efficiency
- Manage capex programs, refurbishments, and ESG-related initiatives from planning through to completion
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain asset-level business plans and financial models, including DCF analysis, IRR, and cash flow projections
- Contribute to the quarterly and annual valuation process; review external valuations for accuracy and consistency
- Produce regular asset management reports for internal stakeholders and external investors
- Track KPIs, NOI performance, and budget variances, identifying issues and escalating proactively
Leasing & Value Creation
- Support leasing processes including coordination with leasing agents and negotiations in collaboration with legal advisors
- Identify value-add opportunities through asset repositioning and lease restructuring
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to create leasing strategies
Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
- Liaise with internal teams across Portfolio Management, Finance, Legal, Transactions, and ESG
- Maintain accurate records in internal asset management systems, ensuring full documentation compliance
- Support fund governance including preparation of investment committee papers and asset management updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree ideally in Economics, Finance, Investment or Real Estate
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate asset management, investment management, or property advisory (logistics/industrial sector experience strongly preferred)
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong analytical skills and a well-developed critical mindset
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, ambition and a proactive, independent approach to your work
- Self-confidence, a high level of commitment, team spirit and flexibility
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with standard office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Co Pilot, Claude/ Ellis AI - CBRE’s internal GenAI platform) to support daily workflows and improve efficiency
