About the Role:
As a CBRE Data Center Account Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing expert operations and facilities management services to a large telecom client at two locations.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
Please note that you will need to be onsite, as this is a site-based position at the client's location.
What You’ll Do:

Provide formal supervision for employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach account leadership as needed.

Point of contact for the client while working with key stakeholders to meet all MSA requirements.

Ensure completion of configuration management, work orders, preventative maintenance, and repairs within the agreed SLA timeframe. Resolve unforeseen circumstances that occur and inform the client or executive management when needed.

Verify facility infrastructure equipment installations are within the agreed SLA timeframe.

Confirm all advanced deployments are installed to applicable internal, manufacturer, and industry standards.

Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental compliance and related performance metrics are met.

Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.

Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.

Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

Create and implement strategy for account development, endorsing innovation and improved ways of working.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
- Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
