About the role

About the Role:

We are looking to transition our high-performing interns into full-time Associate UI/UX designer. As a graduate, we expect you to bring a strong theoretical foundation to our R&D team, helping us bridge the gap between academic research and production-grade UI/UX solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design responsive, user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless cross-platform experiences.

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and evaluate design effectiveness.

  • Work closely with UX researchers, developers, and product managers to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

  • Interpret user journeys, personas, and use cases into well-structured UI flows and layouts.

  • Ensure brand consistency by following established brand guidelines, design systems, and style guides while contributing to their growth.

  • Create and manage UI assets, design libraries, and reusable components for scalable usage across projects.

  • Design with accessibility (WCAG 2.1), usability heuristics, and responsive best practices in mind.

  • Deliver detailed design specifications, UI kits, and handoff files (e.g., Figma, Zeplin, XD) for development teams.

  • Conduct design reviews and usability tests, iterating on feedback to refine designs.

  • Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams across different geographies and time zones.

Educational qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related fields.

Required Skills:

  • Education:

  • Programming:

Experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile applications.

  • Frameworks:

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and prototyping tools.

  • Knowledge:

Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, usability heuristics, and design best practices.

  • Prior Experience:

Proven ability to conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.

  • Communication:

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Portfolio with strong examples of web and mobile application UI/UX design.

  • Case study or project showcasing design process, reasoning, and final outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related fields.
