E/E Launch and Change Coordination Co-op (Spring 2027)

Responsibilities The student will be exposed to new product content, involved in projects, and engage in collaborative department work. Candidates will support the launch and change coordinators with activities to verify the bill of material and demand logic changes for vehicle production. We will develop the student to lead their own process improvement projects. Activities will focus on further development and optimizing of data analytical systems to improve processes and reporting and direct support of the team steering new integration levels into launch and series product.II. Assignment Qualifications: List the preferred degrees/skills for this position.Majors: Pursuing a BS or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, MIS (Management Information Systems), Computer Science or other relevant degrees.Skills:

• MS Excel and Office Suite knowledge- Strong computer aptitude (ability to learn BMW Group systems)- Project Management- Planning and Organizational skills; able to manage many projects and responsibilities in a structured manner- Ability to work independently and show initiative- VBA (or Python) and JAVA skills preferred- Knowledge or experience of manufacturing processes and workflows preferred- German language is a plus
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11th – May 14th, 2027.
