The Group

The charter of ADI's CSPT (Consumer Sensing and Processing Technology) team is to lead the market in selected technology domains with highly differentiated sensing and signal processing solutions. Today these technology areas include Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization and Optical sensing which drive major growth in our portable Consumer business. With a goal to deliver sustainable growth the CSPT group will present the successful candidate with a great opportunity for career development as part of a highly motivated and supportive team.

The Position

The group is seeking a graduate Test Development Engineer to work on the development of new product solutions for the areas listed above, for next generation portable product applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the NP development team as part of a multi-Engineer Test team, in the development of innovative, high performance, mass production ready hardware and software test solutions for our leading-edge product portfolio.

Role and Responsibilities

  • DFT definition & development to improve testability, quality and reduce cost
  • Pre-tapeout verification of Test solutions using Design Simulation tools
  • Design of innovative, reliable and efficient multi-site Probe and Test solutions on high performance mixed signal ATE platforms
  • Execution of the Test development phase including Silicon functionality and debug, Characterization, Yield Analysis, solution optimization and Offshore Production release
  • Support the fast ramp of ultra high-volume new products
  • With CSPT peers and the wider Test Development community, drive for continuous advancement of measurement methodologies through improvement initiatives
  • Leadership opportunities both at a project and personnel level

Relevant Skills

  • Degree or Masters in Electronic Engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics
  • Be self-motivated, willing to take on responsibility, and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills are essential
  • Software Experience (Visual Basic, Python, Java, C)
