Job Description:

The Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the Cloud and Hosting Product Service Lines (PSL) to represent Infra and Digital Workplace Domain in front of other Airbus Functions.

The objective is to support the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our organization's cloud and hosting solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive technology experience for our end users, from initial rollout to continuous improvement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and user satisfaction.

Reporting to the Cloud and Hosting Lead, the role will manage cloud and hosting services ensuring end to end ownership of the product life cycle. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible to align with global product owners to advocate for harmonization of end user products and services within Apac core countries.

Primary Responsibilities

• As part of Cloud and Hosting PSL, to provide support in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud and hosting infrastructure, including on premise servers, cloud solutions, extended enterprise technologies.
• The accountability on cloud and hosting systems includes a highly complex ecosystem with 3 divisions / 11 countries and more than 40 sites connected. A global standardization and harmonization roadmap remains to be conducted.
• All systems being worldwide and interconnected, the Systems Engineer will support all strategy and policies compliant with Airbus group and define APAC standards and apply them in a harmonized way to all entities. In this context, he will work closely with the central domain and PSL of each division to support strategies and roadmaps rollout
• To support Architects when developing technical roadmaps for cloud and hosting upgrades, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
• To collaborate with cross-functional teams in Apac/Central to assess and address cloud and hosting-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• To support PSL to oversee the design, build and run of Datacenter hosted with Vmware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, Storage and Backup, SCCM, Citrix/VDI
• To support PSL in managing the Availability and Capacity management and reporting ON PREM Virtual/Physical servers, Storage and Backup infrastructure in APAC
• To support the Apac/Central Cyber Security team in establishing and enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard system integrity and protect against cyber threats. This includes all Cyber Security driven infrastructure deployments and enhancements in Apac .
• To support PSL in evaluating emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance cloud and hosting capabilities and efficiency.
• To support Cloud and Hosting Lead in preparing and managing budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for cloud and hosting initiatives.
• As cloud and hosting is a key lever in budget and customer satisfaction, to support PSL in continuous improvement, standardization and harmonization lever in APAC and Airbus group

Secondary Responsibilities

• Contribute and collaborate within D&IM domains, and other internal stakeholders to translate opportunities and challenges into innovative technology solutions for Cloud and Hosting.
• Manage/coordinate Cloud and Hosting projects and initiatives assigned.

Professional Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
• Proven experience (>5 years) in cloud and hosting design, implementation, and management.
• In-depth experience knowledge in the following areas:
• On prem virtual server infrastructure platform
• Cloud architecture knowledge
• Cloud technologies operation and migration
• Backup Infrastructure
• High Availability and Disaster recovery
• Data Center
• Private/Public cloud management
• Vendor management
• Experience with cloud and hosting monitoring tools, troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization.
• (e,g, MS SCCM, VMWare Management Console, building Windows servers, installing software and set up them like SQLServer, setup print service, GPO setting for Windows etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
