About the Role

This position reports to: R&D Department Lead

As a R&D Certificate Engineer, you'll take on challenges that transform industries and drive innovation. Responsibilities

• Lead the R&D product certification to get the report and certificate on time
• Drive and communicate with local R&D team, global across team, certification Notified bodies and 3rd party lab
• Be responsible for product certification for robot product in local/global market, including but not limited to MD for EU, UL/CSA for north American, GB safety standards for China
• Maintain product certification instruction and process
• Support to guide and build the control cabinet and manipulator test library or procedures adapt to compliance requirements
• Monitor standard and regulation change and evaluate the impact on product design & development
• Work closely with project team and maintain good relationship with authority parts
• Work with cutting-edge technology and top experts to engineer solutions that shape the future

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, automation, or related field
  • For bachelor: at least 7+ years related working experience
  • For master: 3+ years related working experience in product certification
• Experience in robot product UL and Electrical (or functional safety) certification is a must
• Experience in servo drive product certification is a plus
• Familiarity with EN ISO 13849, EN ISO 10218-1, IEC 60204-1, UL1740, GB11291.1, GB 17799.4, IEC 61800 5-1, IEC 61000 series
• Familiarity with EMC, electrical safety, mechanical safety, understood insulation, flame resistance, leakage current related safety requirement and design principle
• Experience in standard technical committee is a plus
• Familiarity with product design and development process
• PMP certificate is a plus
• Good read, written and oral English skills
• Ability to independently work and problem solve
• Self-motivated and able to work in a project team
• A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement
