Your role and responsibilities

The work model for the role is: {hybrid}

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supports the sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers,
  • Provides technical support and consultation during the technical meetings, product and solution presentations, negotiations and offers product/ solution/service-related training,
  • Lead the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements in coordination with Local Product Line indications and Sales organization directives,
  • Participation in investigating, planning and implementing marketing activities,
  • To prepare technical specifications to comply with the requirement of projects with different levels,
  • To analysis of the requirements and evaluate design solutions for Grid Automation (GAS) / Substation Automation (SAS) projects,
  • Negotiates the customer contract T&C's, and align them with ABB T&C’s,
  • Runs the Global and Local RR process, where necessary,
  • Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Sales organization,
  • Provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment,
  • Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization,
  • Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Product Line to obtain better future results.
  • Periodic visits to customers and trying to increase cooperation for new opportunities,
  • Providing Technical Support and trainings for protection relays, wireless gateways and SCADA Systems,

Qualifications for the role

  • University degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering,
  • At least 5-6 years of practical work experience in commissioning of Substation/Grid Automation Systems and Control & Protection Sytems
  • Solid knowledge on, substation automation network design, substation automation control systems, electrical power systems, protection engineering and ability to use secondary test equipment’s,
  • Experience in technical clarification and reading specifications of Substation/Grid Automation Systems and Control & Protection Sytems
  • Detailed understanding of SCADA Systems, IT Equipment of SAS Systems, LAN/WANs, internet technology and networking protocols,
  • Experience in contractual negotiation is highly preferred,
  • Strong ability to present the product and organization technically and commercially,
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish,
  • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for traveling, No restriction to travel abroad if needed
