This Position reports to: Finance Manager

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate should-cost models for motors and generators
- Act as the key interface between R&D, product management, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, to ensure cost/design optimization.
- Analyze product specifications, to identify cost drivers and their impact on cost models.
- Build and continuously improve cost models and tools that support decision-making and enable technical and commercial trade-offs.
- Collaborate with function managers to understand long-term cost trends and align product specifications and strategies accordingly. Provide expert advice on cost improvement, supporting business case development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting. Over five years of experience as a cost accountant or Finance controlling in the traditional manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and manage detailed cost models.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and personal drive.
- Comfortable working independently within a matrix and global organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across functions and cultures.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Background on factory costing is highly preferred.
