This Position reports to: Finance Manager

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain accurate should-cost models for motors and generators
2. Act as the key interface between R&D, product management, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, to ensure cost/design optimization.
3. Analyze product specifications, to identify cost drivers and their impact on cost models.
4. Build and continuously improve cost models and tools that support decision-making and enable technical and commercial trade-offs.
5. Collaborate with function managers to understand long-term cost trends and align product specifications and strategies accordingly. Provide expert advice on cost improvement, supporting business case development.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting. Over five years of experience as a cost accountant or Finance controlling in the traditional manufacturing industry.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and manage detailed cost models.
3. Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and personal drive.
4. Comfortable working independently within a matrix and global organization.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across functions and cultures.
6. Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
7. Background on factory costing is highly preferred.

The Division's induction, synchronous and special design motors and synchronous generators power critical applications across industry, infrastructure and marine transportation.
