Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of low-voltage and medium-voltage products and solution in electrification business within a designated market/division, in line with the Electrification strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, product and channel mix when applicable, follows profitability targets for assigned product categories
  • Prepares offers in coordination with Product Marketing team. Ensures appropriate technical and commercial aspects of offers, including prices terms of payment, delivery terms and others.
  • Prepares sales plans for assigned geographies, product categories, sales channels or customer segment using provided and approved sales supporting tools and performs regular status reviews.
  • Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome by concluding transactions, negotiating contracts and preparing proposals by using effective sales techniques. Ensures efficient marketing and promotion activities and value proposition to customers within a designated market geography, sales channel or customer segment in accordance with local sales strategy agreed with Product Management team.

  • Qualifications for the role- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales
  • Sound knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage products
  • University degree, technical specialty.
  • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Good English language
