Role Overview

This Position reports to: Group Manager O&G, CH&R

Work model: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Qatar & Middle East region.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments
• Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects
• Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines

Team Dynamics

You will join an ABB EUOPC dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications

• You are skilled in ABB 800xA and/or S+ with Harmony / Infi90, PMS & IEC 61850, AC800M HI and/or Advant systems in the Energy Industries sector markets
• You have at least three years of experience in Process Automation with ABB Products mentioned above
• Possess enhanced knowledge in at least one of the specified systems / platforms
• You are passionate about building strong collaboration and cooperate tightly with targeted destinations and sectors
• Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
• You are at ease communicating in English
