About the Role

Reports to: Project Manager

Work Model: On site

Location: Xiamen, China

This role offers you the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Middle Voltage Primary Switchgear (ELDS PSWG) in Xiamen, China.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Electrical design of medium-voltage switchgear and project management of complex projects
• Engage with customers to negotiate and finalize technical agreements
• Optimize project design and promote standardization
• Provide robust technical support both internally to colleagues and externally to clients
• Be mentor to new employees, assistant engineers, engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical automation or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
• Having experience of electrical design, experience in medium-voltage switchgear is preferred
• Strong understanding of power systems, such as high-voltage technology, power system analysis, and protection relay
• Good communication and logical thinking ability
• Good English skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
• Strong focus on quality and cost control
• Proficient in office software, such as EPLAN, AutoCAD

您主要负责：

• 负责中压开关柜的电气设计和较复杂成套项目的项目管理
• 负责与客户谈判及签订技术协议
• 优化项目方案设计，推动方案标准化
• 为内外部提供强有力的技术支持
• 培训新员工、助理工程师、工程师

岗位要求

• 电气自动化或相关专业，本科及以上学历，硕士优先
• 有电气设计经验，有中压开关柜设计经验优先
• 系统地掌握电力系统的知识和应用，如高压技术、电力系统分析、继电保护
• 良好的沟通能力和逻辑思维能力
• 良好的英语听、说、读、写能力
• 较好的质量和成本控制经验
• 熟练应用办公软件，及AutoCAD、EPLAN绘图工具
