Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this Business Development role is identifying strategic partners, building credible business cases, aligning incentives, negotiating terms, and operating the relationship. I am motivated by partnerships that create durable value because the operating model works for both sides, not just because the announcement sounds strong.
At an early career stage, I built experience by taking a small scope through to completion. Under review from a lead, I prepared the baseline data, owned one defined workstream, and delivered the final readout.
I assessed partner fit through customer overlap, delivery dependencies, economics, and operating risk, then built a joint proposal with explicit owners and exit conditions. Follow-up review showed the joint partner proposal in use, kept unresolved risks traceable, and left the owning team a repeatable basis for its next decision.
I do not present the entire team result as my own. I can separate the analysis, documentation, and validation I completed from the decision those inputs supported.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.
Sincerely,
J. Lee
