About the team
The Search team is redefining how people find and fall in love with homes.
We are evolving Zillow’s search experience from a traditional filter-and-scroll interface into an agentic journey-aware partner powered by the full depth of Zillow’s data in order to deliver richer results, insights and opportunities to ultimately guide movers home with clarity and confidence.
Search is the front door to Zillow. It’s where curiosity turns into intent, and intent turns into action.
About the role
As a Senior Product Manager, Search Experience, you will define and deliver the next generation of home search. You’ll shape how deterministic systems (filters, ranking, sort) work together with probabilistic AI systems (semantic search, conversational interfaces, agentic workflows) to create intuitive, trustworthy, and high-performing consumer experiences.
You will lead high-impact initiatives that reimagine how users express intent, from typed queries to natural language to AI-assisted exploration, and translate emerging AI capabilities into cohesive product experiences at Zillow scale.
This role requires strong consumer search instincts, fluency in non-deterministic systems, and the ability to balance innovation with trust in a high-stakes decision journey.
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll add your strategic thinking, customer obsession, and AI product fluency to a team that values clarity, speed, experimentation, and measurable impact.
You Will Get To:
-
Define and drive strategy for Zillow’s Core Search Experience across Web, iOS, and Android.
-
Build modern, personalized search experiences that combine structured filters, agentic skills, semantic retrieval, and AI-driven guidance to deliver truly delightful and modern experiences that help people move.
-
Develop modern agentic experiences that support and empower shoppers so they can move forward with confidence.
-
Establish evaluation frameworks for AI-powered systems, including quality metrics and experimentation approaches beyond traditional A/B testing.
-
Partner with engineering, applied scientists, designers, and data teams to ship scalable, high-performance experiences.
-
Balance innovation with reliability, ensuring AI outputs meet strict standards for accuracy, fairness, and safety.
