Revenue Finance provides insight into X’s business using financial analysis built on strong relationships. We engage directly with both senior management and front-line sales to understand the drivers of X’s revenue and how to optimize that revenue. As such, you will need to:

  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Finance, and across the company

  • Relate financial performance to advertiser needs and provide compelling cases for action to senior sales management

  • Be personable, approachable and able to connect with each and every person on the team and throughout the business

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle many competing requests

  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively navigate and thrive in ambiguous situations, adapting quickly to changing priorities and evolving business needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build models to analyze complex and sometimes ambiguous business issues: revenue forecasting, market sizing, compensation structures, product pricing

  • Work closely with Sales management, Finance, and Ops Leadership to create revenue growth plans, establish financial and operating targets, and determine optimal resource requirements

  • Use metrics and analytics to identify growth risks and opportunities and influence business partners to drive timely decision making

  • Work with key stakeholders to create, draft, and communicate policies to facilitate smoother operations and improve decision making

  • Work with large data sets, synthesize insights, and present recommendations to executives

  • Design and implement reporting tools for your business partners

  • Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data

  • Streamline processes and increase bandwidth within the Revenue Finance team through automation and outsourcing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record

  • Proficiency in English and effective communication skills

  • At least 5+ years of experience preferably in investment banking, financial services, management consulting, or in the tech / internet industry

  • Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries and pulling data from relational databases

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and effectively influence senior business partners

  • Experience manipulating complex and large data sets

  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and financial modeling

  • Familiarity with Tableau is a plus

  • Knowledge of digital ad space or social media industry is a plus
