The Revenue Strategy & Operations team @ X is a high impact, high visibility team whose mission is to drive strategic alignment and operational improvements across X’s global business. We partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Product to drive strategic planning, identify new revenue opportunities, provide business critical insights, and improve internal productivity.
As an Associate Revenue Strategy and Operations Manager, you will drive operational best practices that shape the strategic direction of X’s global business. You will have the opportunity to manage several projects that promote operational efficiency and revenue acceleration.
We're looking for a self-starter, who is deeply analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently. We work in a structured manner and our team thrives in ambiguity. You do not shy away from rolling up your sleeves, slicing and dicing extensive sets of information, and crafting solutions to problems that have not been tackled yet.

What You'll do:

Be a specialist in and owner of all team policies and processes to drive operational excellence in the region

Deeply embed with the business team and become the operations backbone for those teams.

Being highly proactive with independent thinking to effectively and quickly drive initiatives across the regional org

Communicate effectively to leadership on team’s successes, challenges and execution plans for solving those challenges

Co-lead significant short- and long-term efforts contributing to the overall growth, productivity and ultimately profitability of X

Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and partners in the Sales, Finance, Revenue and Marketing, and Support organizations critical to maintaining or developing long-term relationships with key brands
Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Planning and Market Insight Synthesis: Participate in quarterly and annual planning processes, synthesize market research, competitive insights, and internal data to drive strategic discussions across Strategy & Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product.

Develop and Manage Key Metrics and Operational Processes: Oversee key revenue and operational metrics across the region, troubleshoot system and tooling issues, evaluate the efficacy of current processes and CRM tools, and proactively recommend improvements.

Target New Growth Opportunities: Focus on high-growth areas such as the creator economy, premium sales strategies, and user-centered product features to capture new revenue streams that align closely with Japan’s evolving market demands.

Act as a bridge for Japan’s on-the-ground needs by strengthening the consumer product feedback loop, streamlining the product escalation process, and providing essential support for product GTM efforts.

Collaborate with Local Product Engineering: Partner closely with Japan’s product engineering team to accelerate the development of consumer and ad products specifically tailored to meet Japan’s unique market requirements.
Who You Are
-
3-4 years experience post college - preferably in the digital marketing industry and familiarity with popular digital platforms

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with specialization in marketing, finance, business, economics, engineering or related field of study

Ability to think analytically and solve problems in a structured way

Project management approach to task execution

Experience with spreadsheet and presentation

Experience working across multiple functions / business units, influencing and collaborating with others to successfully roll out programs

Familiar with SQL and Tableau
-
Proficiency in Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
