About the Team
At Workday, we help organizations of all sizes - from fast-growing scale-ups to the world’s most established enterprises - adapt to what’s next. By unifying Finance, HR, and Planning in a single cloud platform, and expanding our portfolio with powerful AI-native solutions such as Evisort and SANA, we now empower every part of the organization with intelligent, workflow-embedded automation, knowledge search, contract intelligence, and decision support. Workday gives companies the agility, insight, and resilience they need to thrive in a constantly evolving world.
The Global Partner Organization (GPO) is a cornerstone of Workday’s growth strategy: Our Partner ecosystem is a key pillar of our success. Our Partner Executives shape Workday’s ecosystem and market momentum. We ensure we have the right mix of partners who can inspire and support transformation agendas, deliver consistently, accelerate time-to-value, and bring differentiated IP and capabilities to our Workday customers.
We win when our Partners win.
About the Role
This P2 Partner Associate role is designed as a development path into a Partner Manager / Partner Executive role. You will support our Senior Partner Managers/Senior Partner Executives on day‑to‑day execution while owning clearly defined workstreams across partner onboarding, ramp, and early ‑stage GTM motions.
You will learn how we build, ramp, and scale partners – from first onboarding through to pipeline generation – and progressively take on more ownership over accounts and motions over time.
Key Responsibilities (Learning and Progression):
-
Support onboarding of new partners across processes, systems, and basic enablement.
-
Support light-touch nurture activities
-
Work with the regional GPO team to help incubate new partners and coordinate initiatives,
-
Support execution of partner campaigns led by senior team members to generate leads and early-stage pipeline (S1s).
-
Shadow Senior Partner Managers/Senior Partner Executives in partner meetings, QBRs, and internal reviews.
-
Coordinate with Field/Partner Marketing on lists, invites, follow‑ups, and asset distribution.
About You
You are at the beginning of your career, or you’re looking to pivot into partner management and want a role where you can learn fast and grow quickly. You’re ambitious, growth‑oriented, and excited by the idea of building a career as a Partner Manager / Partner Executive.
You thrive in a busy, high‑growth environment: the team is large, the expertise around you is deep, and the scope of work is big – that motivates you, not scares you. You like being close to experienced leaders, learning by doing, and taking on more ownership over time.
You are curious, structured, and reliable. You ask good questions, turn ideas into clear actions, and always close the loop. You’re not just looking for tasks; you want to see how your work translates into partner ramp, pipeline, and real business impact.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-4+ years of professional experience in Sales, Business Development, Partner/Channel, Customer Success, or Consulting in a technology or SaaS environment.

Experience in a supporting role to Sales, Alliances, or Partner teams.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.
