Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to perform the development of VLSI system by defining the various functionalities, architecture, layout and implementation for a client

Part of PE team that architects and develops manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter system products

What you'll be doing:

Setup, validate and support rack level tester platforms at contract manufacturers, internal labs and 3rd party test sites.

Oversee test facility design and development with efficient air and liquid cooling setup.

Manage test facility KPIs.

Plan and drive tester/server hardware and software upgrades at all sites.

Drive failure analysis of tester/server and internal components. Identify the failure root cause, perform required repair, and fix the failure Pareto.

Drive key tester critical metrics like tester uptime, recovery time, timely report and material management.

Regular tester and test facility status reporting and improvement recommendations to management.

What we need to see:

10+ years of proven experience in PCBA and System products validation.

BS Degree or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, chip to system.

CM/ODM factory line experience with high volume product testing.

Background in factory production test setup including failure analysis, repair, and recovery.

Experience managing design changes and upgrading testers.

Experience with system test development: hardware and software

Experience in facility cooling and management is big bonus.

Knowledge of server architecture, design, components, sub-assemblies, and systems

Understanding of communication protocols: PCIE, I2C, OSFP • Knowledge of mechanical and thermal tolerancing
