Job Description:

Job Overview

At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology and digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the My Disney Experience app and Hey, Disney!

This role sits in the Retail, Restaurant, and Supply Chain Technology organization within Disney Experiences Technology and will focus largely on point-of-sale and supporting systems. It works closely with cross-functional partners—including Technology Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Finance, and Operations—to support the definition and execution of product roadmaps, translate business needs into clear requirements, and help measure outcomes for Guest- and Cast-facing initiatives. They will contribute directly to the delivery of technology products across Disney’s Retail and Sports businesses, ensuring alignment with business priorities and an exceptional Guest experience.

What You’ll Do

Product Ownership and Execution

  • Own and manage features or product areas within the retail and sports technology portfolios, delivering value under the guidance of Lead and Principal Product Managers.
  • Translate business and Guest needs into clear, actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Actively manage key phases of the product lifecycle, including discovery support, backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and release readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering to clarify scope, dependencies, and trade-offs, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Support the development and maintenance of capability and feature roadmaps aligned to broader product strategy.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, analyze results, and recommend iterative improvements based on data and feedback.
  • Contribute to proof-of-concept efforts (POCs) to validate assumptions, technical feasibility, and business value. Plan and implement POCs in operational areas as needed for further assessment and validation of capabilities and business value.
  • Participate in change control and intake processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery expectations.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Commercial Strategy, Finance, and Technology teams to maintain a prioritized backlog and delivery plan.
  • Gather and synthesize input from stakeholders, end users, analytics, and industry trends to inform product decisions.
  • Support go-to-market activities by partnering with marketing, training, consumer insights, and operations teams.
  • Communicate product updates, risks, and progress clearly through written documentation, presentations, and verbal updates.
  • Participate in product, program, and delivery ceremonies, providing status updates and recommendations as needed.

Team Contribution and Communication

  • Work collaboratively within the product management team, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Support other product managers and business partners through knowledge sharing and day-to-day collaboration.
  • Build strong working relationships across Technology and operational teams to enable effective delivery

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years in digital or technology roles in the retail industry, with focus on increasing responsibility
  • Strong command of agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Strong ability to break down complex problems into clear requirements and deliverable increments
  • Clear and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate a compelling vision for complex and seemingly disparate concepts
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Technology teams and operational departments.
  • Experience in synthesizing complex or diverse project data and information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for Guest experience, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality outcomes
