The Transaction Analytics team within e Commerce Decision Science is seeking a highly strategic and technically strong Senior Data Analyst to support our Transactions Experience space. This role will serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, driving data-informed decisions that inform the product and strategy roadmap.
You’ll leverage data to drive the work of teams who develop experiences that have changed the industry including the cart, checkout, payment, and other purchase-oriented digital experiences. This role requires deep technical expertise, executive storytelling, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

About Team :

The Transaction Analytics team within e Commerce Decision Science is seeking a highly strategic and technically strong Senior Data Analyst to support our Transactions Experience space. This role will serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, driving data-informed decisions that inform the product and strategy roadmap.
You’ll leverage data to drive the work of teams who develop experiences that have changed the industry including the cart, checkout, payment, and other purchase-oriented digital experiences. This role requires deep technical expertise, executive storytelling, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Product Analytics Management, Product Managers, Business Strategy, Design, and Engineering teams to accurately track and analyze existing and new product initiatives.

• Leverage clickstream data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, impact sizing to influence decision-making

• Define and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and monitoring product health.

• Define the customer engagement data capture strategy and collaborate with engineering to ensure the accuracy of the data captured

• Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk to monitor product performance

• Leverage extensive hands-on experience with SQL to query and process large amount of clickstream and transactions data from different databases such as Big Query or Hive to identify opportunities.

• Use statistical power analysis and hypothesis testing to shape and drive the analytics strategy for the Product Management team

• Design and execute A/B tests to identify and quantify the impact of new product feature as an ongoing discipline to constantly improve product features and provide better experiences for customers across all platforms (e.g., Desktop, Mobile, App).

• Provide data driven insights and deliver recommendations that address opportunities for product improvements

• Leverage advanced analytics solutions to identify product and business opportunities at scale using regression, clustering, classification, gradient boosting, etc. techniques.

What You’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field

• 3-5 years experience in analytics

• 3+ years experience with SQL

• 2+ years experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)

• Strong communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working in mid-to-large scale analytics teams

• Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field

• Related industry experience (for example: retail, merchandising, e Commerce, etc)

• Experience using Python or R for analytics and data management

• Experience creating and automating data pipelines
