Job Description

The candidate should be able to remediate the security findings on the applications, middleware, databases and operating systems. The incumbent should have a good hands experience on Linux and Windows Core Operating Systems as well as knowledge of Shell and Powershell scripting.

Essential Functions:

• Application Server administration hands on experience. Must be good in at least one of the application server Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, IBM Websphere
• HTTP Server administration experience. Must be good in at least one of the technology Apache HTTP, Oracle HTTP, Nginx
• Hands-on experience in any one of the database like Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Basic understanding of Data Replication, Clustering, High Availability, etc.
• Basic understanding of network elements like Firewall, Load Balancer, Global Traffic Manager, DNS, etc.
• Prefer candidates who has the experience in automating frequent mundane tasks.
• Candidates with knowledge in Python, WLST scripting or Ansible will be a plus.
• Experience in working with Single Sign on, Certificates, Ciphers, distributions of JDK or JRE in market.
• Experience in developing the CICD pipelines in Jenkins, AzureDevOps or GitHub.
• Experience working with monitoring tool like Splunk , Promotheus and Grafana

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Good problem solving skills with focus on troubleshooting issues in complex production environments.
• Willing to learn new technologies and software, thinking out of the box, questioning the norm and innovative.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills required
• Experience collaborating with small to medium sized teams working in an onsite and offshore model.
