As a Senior Product Designer at Vanta, you will shape the vision and execution of the Customer Trust Management (CTM) product area. In this role, you’ll drive design excellence in one of the most complex and impactful areas of our product, helping customers manage third-party risk at scale.
Our Customer Trust Management product helps teams reduce their risks from third party vendors. Vanta helps customers track their vendors, conduct risk assessments, and continuously monitor for breaches and vulnerabilities. This work is all powered by AI, saving teams time, reducing manual overhead, and making it easier to keep a clear line of sight over your full suite of third parties. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product and Engineering to design clear, efficient experiences that bring clarity to complexity. Beyond individual projects, you’ll influence product strategy, align cross-functional teams, and elevate our design practices as Vanta continues to grow. You will report to the Director of Design within the Trust Product Pillar.
What you will do as a Senior Designer at Vanta:

Bring a high standard of visual and interaction design to your work, ensuring our users have intuitive, delightful experiences.

Develop a deep understanding of our users and craft thoughtful designs that meet their needs.

Work closely with subject matter experts, and partner with them to create guidelines that improve user content and user guidance within Vanta.

Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, data insights, and collaboration with the team.

Use system thinking to create cohesive user experiences, considering how design patterns and components are used consistently across Vanta.

Dive into Vanta's broader ecosystem, learning from other designers and contributing to how different areas of our product connect and interact.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, from engineers to product managers, to bring designs to life and ensure seamless implementation.

Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders, building alignment and enthusiasm for your ideas.

Lead by example and provide mentorship to junior designers, helping them grow their skills and understanding of design best practices.
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience delivering high-quality B2B SaaS products on large-scale projects.

Demonstrated track record of maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact.

Independent in driving discovery processes and leveraging customer insights to inform product strategy and define design directions.

Skilled in leading the design process from ambiguity to concept and execution for entire product areas.

Strong ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management teams.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex problem-solving.

Proven success in driving design strategy, systemic thinking, and strong product sensibility.

Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences.

Proficient in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling.

Portfolio required, showcasing consumer-grade craftsmanship and effective product solutions tailored to customer needs.
