Vanguard is the only company built for investors, fueled by a distinct core purpose: To take a stand for all investors, to treat them fairly, and to give them the best chance for investment success. As Vanguard’s direct provider, Personal Investor plays a special role in that mission. When investors come to us directly, they are choosing to have a deep, enduring relationship with Vanguard. They are choosing much more than our products—they are choosing purpose-driven crew, a disciplined client offer, and an experience built to make each client a better investor.

Advice & Wealth Management (AWM) is Vanguard’s newest division, we support our retail direct investors who have enrolled in Personal Advisor Services or are self-directed with over $5M in Vanguard assets. Our crew work hand in hand with clients through every step of their financial journey to give them the best chance at investment success and achieving their life’s goals.

Wealth Management has a unique mission, which is to be a trusted partner to our ultra-high net worth clients and their families, going one step beyond giving them the best chance at investment success to help them leave a legacy that fulfills their purpose in the world. It’s an exciting time to join the AWM division, working with some of Vanguard’s most loyal clients and being a part of making a difference for future generations.

Client Managers directly influence the Wealth Management mission: Be a trusted partner to our ultra-clients and their families, giving them the best long-term outcomes so they can leave a legacy that fulfills their purpose in the world.

As a member of our Private Client leadership team, you will play a critical role in making this vision a reality by coaching your crew to achieve Trusted Partner status, delivering with Reliability, Credibility, and Connection, supported by a Client First Orientation.

You will lead a team of Relationship Managers, and your primary responsibility will be coaching and developing your team to delight clients, deepen loyalty, and create value for our Wealth Management Clients by uncovering unmet needs and aligning suitable solutions. As a result, you will help deepen and expand our client relationships and retain families through generations.

An ideal candidate brings a strong track record of building inclusive and high performing teams to producing strong outcomes, navigating ambiguity, innovatively solving complex problems, and developing Practice Management skills (relationship management, book management, and sales).
