- What You'll Need
- Experience:1-3 years of professional experience in sales, account management, or business development.- Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.- Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the South African retail/restaurant landscape (Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban specifically).- Communication: Fluent in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the Google Workspace suite.**
- Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Background:** Prior experience in SaaS, Food Tech, or high-growth tech startups.- Multilingualism: Proficiency in other local languages (e.g., isi Zulu, isi Xhosa, or Afrikaans) is a significant advantage.- Proven Track Record: Experience consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs in a competitive environment.- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse business owners.**- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a "startup" culture within a large global organization.
