Family Profiles are a cornerstone of Uber's growth strategy, serving as a powerful lever for user acquisition and retention by enabling seamless mobility for the people who matter most to our riders. Simultaneously, our disability access product portfolio is critical not only for global regulatory compliance but also for our core mission of reimagining how the world moves for everyone, regardless of their physical abilities.
As a Product Manager II on this team, you will lead the strategy and execution for high-impact features that simplify shared accounts and ensure the Uber app remains the gold standard for accessibility. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to ship "magical" mobile experiences that reduce friction for families and empower users with disabilities to move with independence and dignity.

1. Own the Roadmap:
Define and drive the product strategy for Family Experience, balancing long-term innovation with immediate compliance and operational needs.
2. Ship Mobile Experiences:
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new features, from writing PRDs and user stories to collaborating with design on high-fidelity prototypes and overseeing successful launches.
3. Analyze & Iterate:
Monitor product performance through data and user feedback to identify friction points in the family onboarding flow and accessibility features, iterating quickly to improve the experience.
4. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with Legal, Policy, and Operations teams to ensure our accessibility portfolio meets evolving global regulations while delivering a best-in-class user experience.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
1. Experience:
4+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech company or consumer-facing mobile environment.
2. Technical Literacy:
Strong understanding of mobile development lifecycles (iOS/Android) and experience working closely with engineering teams to navigate technical trade-offs.
3. Analytical Mindset:
Proficiency in using data to inform product direction, including experience with A/B testing, SQL, and defining success metrics for user engagement.

1. User-Centric Design:
A proven track record of partnering with UX research and design to build intuitive, inclusive interfaces that solve complex user pain points.
2. Accessibility Expertise:
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and experience building products that prioritize digital inclusion (e.g., screen readers, haptic feedback, or simplified navigation).
3. Stakeholder Management:
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate regulatory requirements and align diverse cross-functional teams toward a unified vision.
4. Growth Mindset:
Experience in "0 to 1" product development or scaling existing features like Family Profiles to drive meaningful business impact.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
