Diesel Mechanic Maint 2nd Shift (B Shift) Humboldt Truck Shop at Tyson Foods

Job Details:

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Schedule-Sunday to Thursday, sometimes Fridays- 3: 00 PM to 11:30 PM.Physical Requirements

Standing, Walking, Bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required in all areas.

• Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas

• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders

• The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot.

• Must be able to work in a dusty environment.

Must have a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
